2005) Valerie Perry has been named the new
Head of the Agricultural Information Center.

2005)All College of
Agriculture personnel are cordially invited to attend an informal reception
for Antoinette (Toni) Greider in honor of her thirty plus years of valued
service to the College of Agriculture. The reception will take place
from 2:30pm to 4:30pm on Thursday, January 20th in the Weldon Suite
of E.S. Good Barn.
Please join us in both thanking Toni for her valuable contributions
to the college and wishing her well as the Associate Dean of Research
& Education for University Libraries.

Search Premier Upgraded -- may cause error message
You may receive the following error message when accessing Academic
Search Premier depending on your browser settings: "Authentication
failed due to a system error. Please close the browser and try again."
What is causing this error message is the upgrade that EbscoHOST did
December 6, 2004.
1st
- If you clear your cache and cookies, that should solve the
problem. If you are using Internet Explorer: Click on Tools, Click on
Internet Options, Choose the General tab. Under Temporary Internet Files,
Click on Delete Cookies, and Delete Files. If your cache is large this
might take a few minutes. When completed click on okay. Try Academic
Search Premier again, and it should work for you.
2nd
- Restarting the machine took care of the problem in Young
Reference, so give that a try and let us know if that doesn't do it.
Incyte/Proteome Databases (November 25, 2002)
The Incyte/Proteome
databases for human and model organisms are once again available to
the UK community! This powerful search engine permits users to quickly
retrieve information about proteins: sequences, literature citations,
related proteins, etc. Users must first register and create a username
and password at:

The currest
protocols series from Wiley has now been added to the Libraries' electronic
collection! Popular print references for several years, CP is a series
of manuals containing the standards for scientific, lab-tested research
and experimentation methods. They can be searched or displayed at:
