ENTOMOLOGY SUMMER CAMPS

Grades K-2: It's a Buggy World (June 27-July 1, 2011)

Have you ever wondered what a bug's world is like? In this camp, children will meet real bug scientists from the University of Kentucky and get up close and personal with some creepy crawly critters.

It's a Buggy World is for children who have completed Kindergarten through 2nd grade, and who are interested in getting their hands on some real insects in a safe learning environment. This is a 5 day camp that goes from 9am-Noon, with drop-off beginning at 8:30am. The price for the week is $150 per child, or $130 for Explorium Members. Grades 3-5: Bugs Alive! (June 27-July 1, 2011)

Join the Explorium and the University of Kentucky Entomology Department for a week filled with insects and arachnids. Learn everything you ever wanted to know about these creepy crawly critters and help put together terrariums for our new Bug Exhibit!

Bugs Alive! is for children who have completed grades 3-5. This is a 5 day camp that goes from 9am-5pm, with drop-off beginning at 8:30am. The price for the week is $210 per child, or $190 for Explorium Members.
