Master Teacher
Previous Recipients
One award ($750) to recognize outstanding teaching in the College of Agriculture. Criteria include,
but are not limited to, effectiveness in the classroom, dedication to students through activities in and out of the classroom, and evidence of activity to improve teaching.

Outstanding Faculty Service to Graduate Student Award
Previous Recipients
One award ($750) in honor of George Mitchell, an outstanding graduate student advisor and mentor. This award is to recognize outstanding career contributions to graduate training in the College of Agriculture at the University of Kentucky.

Outstanding Graduate Student Awards
Previous Recipients
One award each at the master’s ($200) and doctoral levels ($200) to recognize academic excellence as well as contributions to the department, field of research and community service. A vita, transcript, a minimum of two letters of recommendation, articles and abstracts, and teaching materials are required.
