The Department of Merchandising, Apparel and Textiles is one of 3 academic departments in the School of Human Environmental Sciences in the College of Agriculture. The department is a unique blend of retail merchandising, social science, and textile science. Research and publication exists in the areas of merchandising, retailing, social-psychological and cultural aspects of dress, textile science, and historic costume.
