Dr. Min-Young Lee is Assistant Professor in the Department of Merchandising, Apparel and Textiles at the University of Kentucky. She has a Ph.D. in Retail and Consumer Sciences and a M.S. in Communications and Management Science from the University of Tennessee.
Dr. Lee's research has been published in refereed journals, abstracts, and proceedings, including Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Journal of Product and Brand Management, Journal of Customer Behavior, and Journal of Fashion Marketing and Management. In spring 2006 and 2008, her scholarly work received Best Paper Awards from the American Collegiate Retailing Association (ACRA).
She currently teaches Merchandise Planning and Control and Problem Solving in Merchandising. Her teaching interests are in the area of consumer behavior, retail strategy, promotion and visual merchandising, international retailing, and multi-channel retailing both at the undergraduate and graduate level. She is also an active member of numerous professional organizations such as International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA), American Collegiate Retailing Association (ACRA), and Academy of Marketing Science (AMS).
