Earlier this semester, Myrna McGahan Wesley retired from the Department of Nutrition and Food Science, ending a career than spanned more than thirty-five years.  Mrs. Wesley coordinated the first Human Environmental Sciences single parent project, procured grants, led curriculum development as director of undergraduate studies, and advocated for public policy and licensure.  Throughout her career, she provided competence, character, and integrity in teaching, mentoring and advising.

Students, faculty, alumni, staff, and friends are invited to attend a retirement celebration Monday, April 14, 2008 from 4:30 until 6:30 p.m.  The celebration will be held in Gorham Hall in the E.S.
