30 SDA members volunteered on Sunday, October 11th at Fayette County's Second Sunday event to promote physical activity throughout the state. 

SDA students completed a plate waste study to determine food waste in UK cafeterias.  Students collected and weighed waste at UK's Blazer Hall.  SDA members also raised $2800 through tshirt sales to support the Kentucky Academy in Ghana and collected 1800 pounds of nonperishable goods for donation to Gods Pantry foodbank in Lexington.  Thank you to the UK Student Government Association for their financial support of these efforts.
