Debbie Clouthier joined Family & Consumer Sciences as an Extension Associate in January, 2012. She came to FCS from the Department of Nutrition and Food Science, where she was the Staff Support Associate for regular and Extension faculty. Her educational background is in Chemistry (BS from the University of Saskatchewan) with a strong interest in food science and nutrition. She was an active volunteer for many years in the Fayette County Public Schools and is a recent graduate of the Office Systems Technology program at Bluegrass Community and Technical College.
Debbie works with the Homebased Microprocessor, Champion Food Volunteers, Super Star Chef, and Food Preservation Boot Camp programs. She also works closely with the Food Systems Innovation Center.
