A message from the Dean:
The University has now approved a new “UKAg” secondary logo. Use of the new logo is optional. You are not required to replace any existing items.
The College administration will be using the new secondary logo primarily for external marketing purposes, such as posters, brochures, or shirts, and you are invited to do so as well.
Our organization is frequently and conversationally referred to as “UKAg” around Kentucky, so the logo already will have an established identity.
I want “UKAg” to be associated with the entirety of our land grant programs including experiment station, extension, academic programs, HES, regulatory services the diagnostic lab, etc. In some, but not all, circumstances this brand identifier may work better than the “Ag College”, the other way our complete organization is commonly identified.
The University expects that secondary logos are to appear along with the official university, college, or other approved official logo. For example, you could place the new secondary logo on the front of a shirt, but you would need to add the UK logo on a sleeve. In announcing this new secondary logo, I ask that you keep in mind the following points:
• Nothing has changed in regard to existing college or extension logos.
• All College of Agriculture offices, including county extension offices, will continue using existing templates and logos. The new UK Ag secondary logo may be used in addition to existing logos (i.e., it doesn’t replace anything). more
