Association for Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS)
AAFCS is a national professional organization for all areas of family and consumer sciences. The UK student member section of AAFCS is open to all students in the School of Human Environmental Sciences who are interested in promoting their own professional development and forming lasting friendships. Meetings are held each month in Erikson Hall with the first meeting in September. Membership dues include subscriptions to the Journal of Family and Consumer Sciences and AAFCS Action. Dues also include membership in the Kentucky Association of Family and Consumer Sciences.
