TheTĪNĒ consortium is an integrated research approach focused on terrestrial ecosystems and aimed at addressing a critical area of uncertainty related to the fate, transport, and effects of manufactured nano-materials (MNMs) introduced into the environment. Specifically, the effects on agroecosystems, including impacts on the soil resource, direct risks from MNM entry into the human food chain, indirect risks to agricultural productivity and food security, and impacts on aquatic resources from erosion and runoff will be considered.
