Dean of the College of Agriculture Scott Smith has served Kentucky agriculture since 1978, first as an agronomy researcher, whose field of expertise was nitrogenin soils, then as chairman of the agronomy department, and most recently as associate dean for research. He became dean of the College of Agriculture in January 2001.
