Switchgrass is making a comeback in Kentucky and it could be a renewable energy source. Research is being conducted by UK forage specialists thanks to a grant from the Kentucky Forage and Grassland Council and the Kentucky Agricultural Development Board.

Some plants are not welcome in Kentucky. A growing list of invasive plants is threatening our environment and the timber industry.

This time we focus on balancing finances during the holiday season and suggest some low cost food and gift ideas.

Students in the newly launched Turner Leadership Academy could be the leaders of tomorrow. The first class of the TLA was introduced just this fall, which is named for Larry Turner, former Associate Dean for Extension in the UK College of Agriculture.
