The University of Kentucky held the first-ever equine field day and showcased improvements to its Maine Chance Equine Campus.

They have finally made their appearance in Kentucky.  The emerald ash borer, an invasive insect pest of ash trees has now been confirmed in the Bluegrass State.

It’s the summer grilling season and on It’s About You get some tips on selecting and safely storing a variety of meat selections to make the grilling season one to remember.

We will preview this year’s All-Commodity Field Day coming up July 23 at UK’s Research and Education Center at Princeton in western Kentucky.

 

Some 4-H’ers in northern Kentucky worked on a service learning project this summer that will benefit children they don’t even know.
