The S*KY Blue Solar House from the University of Kentucky left campus and headed for Washington, D.C. and the 2009 Solar Decathlon biennial event.

As part of UK's Sustainability Showcase, the Big Blue is going green with a denim drive to recycle old jeans and denim garments to use as insulation in Habitat for Humanity homes..

Tips on controlling the food budget without compromising taste and health.

The UK Police Department is also going green with the purchase of electric motorcycles to increase mobility and decrease response time while saving the environment.

UK’s Dining Services are Kentucky proud by expanding partnerships with local food producers to purchase fresher, healthier foods for UK’s table.

More than 850 preschool children visited UK’s Robinson Station for a day of fun and learning.  Each child took a trip to the pumpkin patch to choose their own pumpkin to take home.
