J.M. Feltner Memorial 4-H Camp, (map) near London, KY. covers 182 acres of scenic foothills near the Daniel Boone National Forest and the Levi Jackson State Park. The camp serves 28 counties and can accommodate 308 campers and counselors per session in its cabins plus 24 in the outpost for primitive camping. The cabins and bath houses are heated. Camp facilities include a modern, heated dining hall, crafts building, the new 5-plex, the shelter house, nature building, country store for souvenirs and snacks and a swimming pool with diving board. A 1 ½ acre lake provides opportunities for fishing, canoeing and pond studies in nature class. The camp offers facilities for archery, riflery, horseshoes, hiking, volleyball, basketball, football, tennis and a low ropes challenge course program. The shelter house or spacious campfire area is ideal for evening programs or special events.
