As a 4-H alumnus, you know first hand how 4-H can benefit young people. You made lifelong friends, learned about things like animals, cooking, and bike safety that schools don’t usually offer, and entered the fair. 4-H camp was the highlight of your summer. You calmed the butterflies long enough to survive your first speech or demonstration.  You traveled to other counties and other parts of the state. Some of you went to National 4-H Congress in Chicago or National 4-H Conference in Washington, DC. Wow…those were the days!

4-H doesn’t have to stop when you turn 19; you’re welcome to begin an exciting new phase as a 4-H volunteer. Volunteers are needed in every county so we encourage you to take a look at what’s happening in the county where you live.
