Kentucky 4-H depends on more than 18,000 youth and adult volunteers who serve over 200,000 youth. Offering quality educational opportunities is essential and one of our most critical needs. The Kentucky Volunteer Forum is recognized as the second largest forum in the country and Kentucky’s premier event for educating volunteers and celebrating their accomplishments and contributions. The mission of the Forum is to provide teen and adult volunteers and staff the opportunity to receive education and recognition, share resources, and collaborate while celebrating ‘service to youth’.
The goal of the Forum is for all the participants to take this invaluable information they receive at the Forum back to their communities and promote volunteerism among their peers. At the 2006 Forum, over 700 youth and adult volunteers all over the state attended this 3-day conference held in Lexington, KY.
