Objective of this Endowment: To provide financial support to the Kentucky 4-H State Teen Council who strive to develop leadership skills in a broad base of youth throughout the state.
History: This endowment was created in 2001 as a way for family and friends of Dennis Goodman to pay tribute to his impact on 4-H youth even beyond Dennis' own lifetime.
How annual interest funds will be used: Funds will be made available annually for the purpose of planning, executing, and supporting opportunities for youth to develop leadership skills. Ideas might include but are not limited to: teen round-ups; grants to leadership retreats or seminars; learning activities or events where youth make a plan and carry it out, putting into practice what they are learning; opportunities for State Teen Council members to provide leadership out in the state.
