Objective of this Endowment: To provide financial support to young people, who are elected and serve Kentucky 4-H as State 4-H Officers, for post secondary education. Once the fund can accommodate this objective, scholarships will extend to youth in other state leadership roles.
History: This scholarship fund was initiated in honor of Mr. Coleman White, Assistant Director of Extension for 4-H Youth Development from 1978 to 1991.
How annual interest funds will be used: The value of the scholarships will vary from year to year depending on the income produced by the investment. Each scholarship is awarded in one lump sum and may be used by the student for post-secondary expenses such as tuition, fees, books, and room and board at the institution of their choice.
