Objective of this Endowment: To provide financial support so youth can be involved in significant leadership roles at the state, regional or national level. This fund supports Kentucky's commitment to involve youth in decision making roles.
History: The fund was initiated in honor of Mr. Charlie Mason, long term Foundation Board Member and Chair. Mr. Mason was instrumental in raising funds for 4-H over many years and was most noted for securing funds for the construction of the Kentucky Leadership Center.
How annual interest funds will be used: Funds will be available to youth who are interested in leadership roles, and used for expenses such as registration fees, transportation, and lodging or meals to attend educational programs.
