CAMP DATES and Capacities
The regular camp season is approximately June-August. Camps are available for rental on other dates by Extension and Non-Extension groups. Call Susan Shaw for availability. 859-257-5961, ext. 224.

CONTACT AGENT
Selected or appointed annually by District Directors to serve on one of the five 4-H Camp committees for a two-year term. The duties are to work with the State 4-H Staff in developing a summer camp program, recruiting camp staff, scheduling dates, and evaluating programs.

CAMP FORMS and FEES
Rates will change from year to year (Extension) (Non-Extension). Rates include Excess Medical/Accident insurance for Extension groups, but do not include crafts or transportation. Each cabin must have at least one ADULT (minimum 18 years of age) leader. Many camp forms are available on the Internet. Also see below.

• Camp Safety Coordinator Position Description (Volunteer)
  A Safety Coordinator was successfully used for a camping session in 2005.  This has been posted to share with all agents who may want to assign such duties to a volunteer during their camping session.  It is not required.  This coordinator position is not a paid position.  It is on a voluntary basis.  A fee waiver can be approved for the volunteer who is assigned these responsibilities.  An instructor fee waiver should be completed and submitted to the Extension Associate for Camping two weeks prior to the county’s camping session.
