NAME - Project Food, Land & People
DESCRIPTION - Project Food, Land & People is a non-profit organization created in 1988 to develop and distribute a national K-12 curriculum to complement existing agricultural, environmental and natural resource conservation education programs. In Kentucky, training and distribution of the materials is facilitated by the Kentucky Food, Land & People Partnership.
SUGGESTED AUDIENCES - Resources are designated for audiences in grades K-12, but they are easily adaptable for learners of all ages.
RESOURCES AVAILABLE - 55 lesson plans in the Resources for Learning notebook. To receive the notebook, agents/teachers/leaders must participate in a 6-hour workshop. To become a facilitator to train other leaders to use the materials, you must complete a 16-hour facilitator training.
