Description

Held on UK campus for youth who have graduated from the 8th grade through age 19 of the program year. Program is designed to develop leadership & citizenship skills, inspire teens to remain in 4-H and acquaint them with our land-grant university. Planned & designed to satisfy a wide range of interests. Delegates choose from among several interest areas for tracks, college visits, tours, workshops, and issues seminars. Objectives accomplished through these plus speakers, group living, recreation, recognition programs, election of officers, & Fashion Revue.

Objectives
1. To develop leadership and citizenship skills.
2. To develop knowledge and skills in specific subjects.
3. To gain skills that can be used in club and county 4-H program.
4. To have fun, make new friends, and develop social skills.
5. To become acquainted with University of Kentucky and career opportunities.

  • Costs: $140.00 (Registration due May 1st, 2006)
