Pradeep did his Ph.D on transposable elements in the rice
blast pathogen Magnaporthe grisea partly from
M.S. University Baroda and a partly from University of Wisconsin.
He was a Research Associate with Prof. Dan Klessig at the
Boyce Thompson
Institute, NY until his appointment as Assistant Professor
at the Dept. of Plant Pathology in September 2002.

Ludmila has been a UK employee since 1996, when she arrived as visiting scientist from Ukraine. She takes care of all that is required to keep the lab running smoothly, including the plants and the lab members.

Aardra came to the lab along with Pradeep in Jan 2003 following her second postdoc studying Self-Incompatibility in Brassica at Cornell University. She completed her Ph.D on disease resistance in rice jointly from the M.S. University of Baroda, India and the Salk Institute, CA.

Chandra came to the lab in August of 2003. He completed his Ph.D on "Genetic and Molecular Analyses of Cytoplasmic-Nuclear Male Sterility Systems in Pearl Millet (Pennisetum glaucum)" from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute , India.
