Kentucky News updated as of

- Hello Everyone,
Soybean rust was found today at very low levels (3% incidence and about the same severity) in a commercial doublecrop field in Ballard County in far west Kentucky. According to Tom Miller, the Ballard County ANR agent and the one who collected the sample, the field was at harvest maturity except for a small area of still green plants under a street light. All fields in KY are at or very close to harvest maturity; thus, finding soybean rust this late in the season is an academic exercise and there is no potential for crop yields to be damaged.
