ON THE COVER—The science of Human Environmental Sciences has now spanned a century, from an early nutrition laboratory to that of Elizabeth Easter, professor in the Department of Merchandising, Apparel, and Textiles. Easter is pictured in the textile research lab with student assistant Deena Cotterill. More than 50 corporations and organizations have used Easter's expertise in textile testing for product development and evaluation.
