The University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service helps growers implement research-based production practices, investigate high-value alternative crops, develop sound business plans and explore new marketing options to increase farm profitability.
The University of Kentucky's Crop Diversification & Biofuel Research & Education Center provides production and marketing information on new crops and value-added versions of current crops.
The KNLA began in 1926 and now has over 300 member firms. The primary goal as a network of professional nursery growers, landscapers, garden centers and others interested in horticulture, is to provide educational opportunities to members and emphasize consumer awareness.
