See
a calf
being born!
Beef
and Dairy cattle have babies called calves. The process
of having calves is called calving. Cows usually have
one calf at a time. Calves are raised by their mothers
until they are about six to eight months old. At this
age, they are weaned, or seperated from their mothers,
to be fed by the farmer. Dairy calves are weaned within
a few days of their birth. The farmer feeds the calves
until they are sold or kept to become mothers and fathers.
