You
might have noticed that a couple of the white colored breeds of
hogs look the same. So, how does a farmer tell each pig from the
rest? They use an ear notching system. The ear notching system
is a way of cutting part of a pig's ear, in a place that stands
for a certain number.
|
| Here
is a pig with each number in its ear so you can figure out what
each notch means.
See if you
can tell what each of these pig's numbers are?
(Hint:
Add the numbers the notches represent together to get the number.)
