When soybeans are harvested, they are sold to processing plants. The processing plants turn the soybeans into products humans and animals can eat or use.
There are four major groups of soy products:
 
  • Soy flours and grits
  
 
  • Soy protein concentrates
  
  • Soy protein isolates
