Soy flours and grits are made from soybean flakes. The flours and grits are used in the baking industry to make soy milks. Many people that are allergic to cow's milk drink soy milk.

Soy isolates were prepared from dehulled soybeans also. Soy isolates are made into infant formulas, and meat and dairy products.

Soy concentrates are made from dehulled soybeans, or soybeans that have had the hull removed.
