Once the topping has been completed, the tobacco stands in the field for four to six weeks before it is cut down. The process of cutting the tobacco down is commonly called cutting. Cutting is usually done by hand, but it can also be done with a Tobacco Harvester, as shown in the picture. Watch some tobacco being cut!
