John Deere
John Deere was an Illinois blacksmith and plow maker of the 1830s. He made a new kind of plow constructed all of steel except the handles, braces and beams.
John Deere is now the name of a popular farm machinery manufacturer, in which its tractors and farm machines are characterized by bright green paint with yellow trim.
