Prostate
The prostate gland is an accessory sex gland located at the neck of the bladder and has several important functions:
- secretes a watery fluid to cleanse the urethra during the ejaculatory process
- provides minerals for sperm
- provides the medium for sperm transport
- provides the characteristic odor of semen
