Yellow Green Algae 

Yellow Green Algae are eucaryotic cells with two apical flagella (anterior and posterior). They contain chlorophyll. Yellow green algae have a cellulose cell wall with some possessing a silicaceous cell wall with two overlapping halves. They are unicellular and filamentous. Reproduction is by zoospores, fragmentation, and fission (asexual) or fusion (sexual).
