Developed and Developing Countries
Developed countries are those in North America, Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan with highly industrialized economies, who have highly productive agriculture and are often net exporters of foods.
Developing countries are those in Asia, Africa, Latin America and various islands where agriculture is the predominant source of income but is this income is not sufficient to maintain a moderate level of living.
