Equine Chorionic Gonadotropin

Equine Chorionic Gonadotropin (eCG) is produced by the endometrial cups of the pregnant mare. Present in mare serum between days 40-130 gestation. eCG is predominantly follicle-stimulating in effect, but it also possesses a luteinizing fraction.
