Feeding and nutrition is very important when raising livestock. Farmers carefully evaluate their livestocks nutritional needs based on species, use and activity level.
If the animals' feed does not meet their nutritional requirements, their production levels could decrease dramatically. Nutrient deficiency diseases could also occur and even death.
