Resource Conservation and Recovery Act
The Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) of 1976 was the first attempt to regulate solid waste and hazardous waste management . This Act requires the EPA to regulate all hazardous waste through all phases. It also requires the monitoring of underground storage tanks.
