Applicants for IAALD Scholarships may
wish to investigate other or additional sources of funding.
Support is more likely to be forthcoming if applications are tied
to specific, clearly explained
projects or programs which the applicant is engaged in and which the
potential donor is interested in.
It is rare for individuals to be supported unless they are within
a project area. This matching of
requirements and interests requires some research. Below are some

a starting point in this process. Look carefully at the websites below
and see if the organisation is
active in your region/country and what projects/programs are being
funded. If there is interest in
the library/IT area, then make your approach at the LOCAL level.
