Information About the Scholarship The International Association of Agricultural Information Specialists (IAALD) and the National Agricultural Library in the United States are providing a limited number of scholarships to librarians from eligible countries. These scholarships will provide funding up to US $2500 to provide travel, hotel and subsistence (made available on arrival) to the IAALD World Congress/USAIN Biennial Conference to be held in Lexington, Kentucky USA in May of 2005. In addition, IAALD will pay the full conference registration. session To apply for the scholarship submit a completed form by December 31, 2004. Applications must be received by December 31, 2004 to be eligible for consideration. Note: A list of countries eligible for

Bank List of Countries All countries on Part I of the List are eligible but only
selected countries from Part II are eligible. All submissions will be
validated by the IAALD/Secretary Treasurer. Visa Information Travel to the United States Visas are required for all people entering the United States except for those people from Visa Waiver Countries. A B-1 Visa is required for entry to attend the IAALD/USAIN World Congress. Consult your nearest US Consulate for visa requirements.
