Pat Wilson

Access & Delivery Division

She has a BA in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Indianapolis and a MSLS from the University of Kentucky. She has been a USAIN member since 1991 and served on the Executive Committee as a Director, 1997-1999. Pat is currently the Chair of the Communications Group, manager of USAIN-L, the discussion list for USAIN, and Co-Convenor of the Technology Trends Interest Group (formerly the Changing Information Environment Interest Group). She has served on the Membership Committee (1991), the Local Arrangements Planning Committee (1995 conference), Networking Committee (Chair, 1995-1997), Nominating Committee (Chair, 1997-1998), and has participated in the Document Delivery Interest Group and the AGRICOLA Interest Group. Pat is also active in SLA; she is currently the Chair (2002) of the Public Policy Committee (2000- ) and was on the Networking Committee (1995-1998). In the Food, Agriculture and Nutrition Division she was Chair of the Division (1998-1999), Treasurer (1995-1997), Chair of the Procedures Manual Committee 2000-), manages the FAN discussion list and FAN Board discussion list, Awards Committee Chair (1999-2000), Nominating Committee (2000-2001), and on the Board of Directors (1992-1993. In the Information and Technology Division of SLA she is currently co-chair of the Learning Communities Committees. In the Kentucky Chapter of SLA she was President (1994-1995), served on Conference Planning Committees for several years, and was Treasurer (1992-1993). She believes that many valuable resources are freely available; it is just a matter of working with our populace to make them aware
