Identity Preservation

Each grower has the responsibility to provide any necessary crop isolation that might be required to keep cross pollinating from occuring.  If a grower wants to preserve the identity of his or her crop, the grower should manage pollen flow in currently grown identity preserved crops. Practices include isolation distances, buffers between hybrids, border rows, planned differences in maturity between adjacent fields, and natural barriers.
