Using the Glossary

A glossary is available to provide definitions and photos to further explain many of the concepts in the text. You can access the glossary in two ways:

1. Choose glossary at the main menu page to access the frames version.

Click on any word in the lower left frame to view the definition in the lower right frame. You may choose any word at any time from the lower left frame. If you wish to return to the opening page of the glossary, click on Reload Glossary located in the upper left frame.

Instead of scrolling to find a particular word, you may "jump" to a specific letter by clicking on it in the upper right frame.

To print a definition, click anywhere within the definition frame. Next, click on the PRINT button on the Netscape tool bar.

2. Click on any word that is highlighted and underlined in the text.

This will show you the definition of that particular term only. (To get back to the previous page, choose BACK from the Netscape toolbar.)
