USDA Economic Research Service
USDA Economic Research Service has released information on
acreage
of biotechnology-derived crops. The report indicates that
biotech soybeans, cotton and corn acreages have increased dramatically
since their introduction in the mid-1990's. They accounted for 20-44%
of acreage planted in 1998.
American Crop Protection Association
ACPA is the not-for-profit trade organization representing the major
manufacturers, formulators and distributors of crop protection and pest
control products, including biotechnology products with crop production
