The Office of Diversity fosters a commitment to assisting students grow academically, professionally, and personally. Dr. Lionel Williamson, recently named Assistant Dean of Diversity Programs is responsible for the development, administration, and support of diversity programs and initiatives for students, faculty and staff throughout the College of Agriculture.

Being involved with MANRRS provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain exposure to the wide variety of careers in agriculture related areas. Benefits of membership in MANRRS are numerous. They include developing leadership skills, becoming aware of trends in agricultural sciences and related fields, providing opportunities for professional development and community service, as well social interaction. Students in MANRRS also have the opportunity to attend the Annual Career Fair and Training Conference. Here, the participants attend workshops, compete in various contests, and network with peers and professionals in agricultural sciences and related fields.
