Revisions to Kentucky Agriculture Water Quality Plan
In 1999, the Kentucky Agriculture Water Quality Plan was revised. One new Best Management Practice (BMP) was added, and one existing BMP was changed. These changes affect both the Crops and Livestock sections.
Livestock BMP #11 - Nutrient Management is to be used for all agriculture water quality planning that has previouly been addressed with Crops BMP #5 - Nutrient Management and Crops BMP #14 Waste Utilization. Livestock BMP #11 is also to be used for all agriculture water quality planning that has previously been addressed with Livestock BMP #11 - Waste Utilization.
