Water Heroes Video
The ENRI Task Force received funds through the Environmental Protection Agency Nonpoint Source Grant Program to produce a water quality video segment for the 'Gee Whiz in Agriculture' Series. This video series is geared toward 4th and 5th grade youth and has been incorporated into math and science curricula of elementary schools across the nation. The program entitled "Water Heroes" exposes students to topics such as nonpoint source pollution, influences of human activities, best management practices, and methods for determining water quality. Students are also introduced to the sciences of chemistry and geology through the segment.
