Youth Activities:
Project WET - A-maze-ing Water: In this activity, youth learn about stormwater pollution by simulating a stormwater drainage system. The Project WET Curriculum Guide can not be purchased. Only individuals that attend a Project WET Training can receive the guide. If you are interested in attending a Project WET Training contact Ashley Osborne.
Healthy Water, Healthy People - Turbidity or Not Turbidity: In this activity youth learn about erosion, turbidity, and their effects on the environment. This activity can be adapted to investigate the effects of sediment on stormwater runoff. The Healthy Water, Healthy People Water Quality Educators Guide can be ordered online, click here. Please note: Many county Extension offices received this guide during the Spring/Summer 2005.

KET - Electronic Field Trip to a Watershed: Two videos, one for grades 3-5 and one for grades 6-8, can be viewed online at the KET website. The videos take youth on a virtual field trip of urban and rural watersheds, and discuss sources of pollution.
